Rotate first
The official client is designed for landscape and even asks you to rotate.
Mobile guide
Poke Survivor mobile play is the official HTML5 build in landscape. Drag to move, tap a move icon to switch attacks, and pause from the top-right. A Bluetooth keyboard also works. This is not a store app.
Phone setup
The official client is designed for landscape and even asks you to rotate.
Put a finger anywhere and drag. The joystick appears under that finger.
Add a PWA shortcut. That is a bookmark, not an Android package.
Guest data stays in the browser. Sign in if you want progress on another device.
Limits
The phone session is the same cross-domain official game. This outer site cannot inject extra buttons into the canvas. Decorative on-screen keys would miss WASD, move slots, and pause.
GitHub issues show players asking for Android packaging. Until jpter78 ships a store build, the phone path means the browser in landscape, with optional Add to Home Screen.
Field notes
Lock rotation off if the OS keeps flipping back to portrait. Use landscape before you tap Start. The official overlay tells you to rotate; fighting that overlay wastes the first minute. Once the dungeon loads, plant a thumb anywhere on the map, drag to steer, and ignore the urge to hunt a virtual D-pad that is not part of the official skin.
Move icons sit along the bottom. Pause sits at the top-right. Auto-fire still uses whichever attack is selected, so the phone skill ceiling is positioning plus type swaps, not aiming. If the browser chrome eats the pause control, hide the toolbar or use fullscreen on this page first.
Canvas horde games are GPU heavy. Drop quality, disable extra shake, and cap FPS in Settings if the SoC throttles. Backgrounding the tab on iOS can freeze the run. Treat a phone session as one sitting unless you signed into cloud saves. Guest data is bound to that browser profile; clearing Safari data deletes it.
Bluetooth keyboards type WASD the same as a laptop. Gamepad talk exists in the public issue tracker, but the documented mobile path is touch. Do not expect this outer site to paint extra buttons on a cross-origin canvas. If the iframe is blank, open the official English URL in its own tab so you can see whether the filter is the embed or the game host.
Add to Home Screen only creates a shortcut. It will not install a store package, will not grant extra permissions, and will not bypass a content filter that already blocks the official host.
Deeper notes
Poke Survivor mobile traffic wants the dungeon in landscape with a joystick under the thumb, not a design essay.
Graphics can be lowered in Settings, including automatic quality, damage numbers, screen shake, and FPS caps. Use those before you assume the phone cannot run the canvas.
Audio starts after the first tap because browsers block autoplay. Home-screen shortcuts still point at the website and are not an Android package.
Source notes
Document landscape, joystick, pause control, and Settings quality before promising smoothness.
Poke Survivor mobile should stay a setup page even if a store app appears later; then add the store URL instead of deleting this guide.
Link APK and download pages so Poke Survivor mobile visitors who wanted a file still get the safe answer.
FAQ
Yes, in a modern mobile browser. Landscape is required. Performance depends on the phone GPU and the in-game graphics quality setting you pick.
No official iOS or Android store listing is published by jpter78. Use the browser game or a home-screen shortcut instead of a mystery store page.
Yes. Official docs: drag anywhere to move, tap a move to switch attacks, and tap the top-right control to pause the run.
The official overlay is landscape-first. Portrait hides move icons and pause. Rotate before you tap Start so the joystick and attack row have room.
No. Add to Home Screen only bookmarks the website. It does not install an Android package, grant extra permissions, or bypass a filter that blocks the official host.
Yes. WASD and arrow keys work the same as on a laptop. Documented phone play is still drag-to-move plus tap-to-swap if you have no keyboard.
Canvas horde games stress the GPU. Open Settings, drop quality, cut screen shake, and cap FPS before you assume the phone cannot run the official client.
iOS often freezes a background canvas. Treat a phone run as one sitting unless you signed into cloud saves. Guest data stays in that browser profile.
No. The canvas is cross-origin from pokesurvivor.com. Decorative keys on this shell would miss WASD, move slots, and pause inside the iframe.
Yes. The HTML5 client is one game. Phone play is a control and heat issue, not a cut-down species list or a different gacha.
